CARACTERISTIQUES TECHNIQUES
L'automoteur d'artillerie Sextonétait un derive du M7 "Priest", de plus, il utilisait le châssis du char "Ram".Ce véhicule, produit à 2150 exemplaires, au Canada de 1943 à 1945. Tout aulong de la production, des améliorations de la coque et du train de roulementfurent apportées Il fut utilisé par les troupes du Commonwealth lors de lacampagne de reconquête de l'Europe de l'ouest. Retiré du service au milieudes années 50 par ses utilisateurs originaux, de nombreux Sexton furent vendusà des armées étrangères. Ils connurent ainsi une deuxième vie opérationnellejusque dans les années 1970.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The self-propelled gun "Sexton"was a derivative of the M7 "Priest" using the chassis of the tank "Ram". 2,150units have been built in Canada between 1943 and 1945. The hull and rollingelements have been improved all along its production period. The "Sexton"has seen extensive use with the Commonwealth troops during the north-westerncampaign. Many units were sold to foreign armies when the original operatorswithdrew this SP gun from service. Then this vehicle experienced a secondoperational life until the 1970's.
