Retiré du service au milieudes années 50 par ses utilisateurs originaux, de nombreux Sexton furent vendusà des armées étrangères. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The self-propelled gun "Sexton"was a derivative of the M7 "Priest" using the chassis of the tank "Ram". 2,150units have been built in Canada between 1943 and 1945. The hull and rollingelements have been improved all along its production period. The "Sexton"has seen extensive use with the Commonwealth troops during the north-westerncampaign. Many units were sold to foreign armies when the original operatorswithdrew this SP gun from service. Then this vehicle experienced a secondoperational life until the 1970's.
