TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Late 1942 the Büssing company designs an evolution of the Sd. Kfz. 231fitted with the 75 mm short-barrelled Stuk L/24 available in quantities dueto the evolution of the vehicles and combats. 115 units were delivered.
This 8 wheeled all terrain armoured car is appreciated by the troops as itscannons manned by a crew of three and supplied with 32 rounds deals with mostof the battlefield targets. A platoon of six Sd. Kfz. 233 serves amongst thearmoured cars squadrons within the battalions recon detachments. This vehiclefought on all major fronts until the Reich's surrender.
