Howitzer car - German armoured train BP42
Each BP 42 had two of these cars. One of them was housing the train kitchen whilst the other one had the sick-bay. This 37 MT car carried an armoured turret fitted with a low-velocity 100 mm field howitzer taken from the Polish army. The weapon was named 10 cm FH 14/19 (p), weighted 1,550 kg had a rate of fire of 8 rpm with a 9.8 km maximum range. 225 shells that weighted 16 kg were on board
